Africa FOSS Community Award

Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa (FOSSFA) and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) relies on volunteer efforts to achieve many of its goals. The Africa FOSS Community Award is a formal way for FOSSFA and its partners to offer recognition of work, which in our opinion, significantly improves the Foundation's fulfilment of its mission and benefits the broader FOSS community. The intention of this award is to demonstrate that service to the FOSS community does lead to recognition and reward, rather than to provide a direct incentive to contributors.
